Beautiful historic building
No complaints
Great location if you're going to PPAC. Breakfast was good, a lot better than what you usually get for an included breakfast.
The bed was too hard.
Great location, helpful staff and lovely breakfast.
Homeless people hanging outside the hotel, quite intimidating.
A trade mark hotel
Dated place, super old furnished room the drawers were not working! Too noisy AC
Both excellent
I liked the old adorable building. The people who work in Valet were amazing!
The water took forever to get warmer. The bar was kind of empty.
Hotel location - in a beautiful part of Providence, walking distance to just about everywhere of interest for us. Layout - We liked that there was a door separating the room from the entry/sitting area where the sofa bed was located. Accommodations. - bed and pillows were comfortable, nice soaps and toiletries in the bathroom Breakfast - breakfast offerings were assorted every day, and different every day for the most part. Staff - was friendly.
Room Location - The room was located right in front of the elevator, and facing the alley where dumpsters are located. Very noisy not just with other guests, but the hotel staff in particular very early in the morning as well. Accommodations - would’ve loved a complete of towels upon arrival, as well as available linens for the sofa, bed and blankets for every bed. There was hardly any storage available. Only six hangers in two small closets and only a small drawer in a junior suite is not acceptable. The battery for the safe seem to be low and wooden lock, and the vanity mirror light did not work. Cleanliness - the entire hotel could use some deep cleaning. Wallpaper is old and dingy. There were mildew marks other signs of poor hygiene, bathroom and carpet. Staff - could use more training, particularly in professionalism. They seem to be understaffed. Breakfast - coffee was rather weak.
