Nice Hotel
Room was nice. It suited the need for my family with 2 bedrooms. I was in Winston Salem for a surgery the following day.
Pillows were uncomfortable. Couldn't get wifi to work properly. Light in the shower didn't work
Wonderful staff, breakfast, and rooms.
All the staff was great! Wherever we went, we were greeted and treated well. Everything was kept clean including breakfast areas and rooms and any issues were addressed immediately. Breakfast had a nice variety and enjoyed made to order omelets. Also, love the evening beverages for adults. Kids could enjoy Shirley Temples. All the bartenders were very friendly and helpful. Made delicious drinks!
The pool was closed so would have been nice to have been warned about that. We know it wasn't the hotel's fault they couldn't get needed parts but a heads up would help us better prepare with small children. This is the other reason we did not give a perfect score.
My stay
The staff in the dining room were exceptionally helpful and quickly were efficient in replenishing and clearing the tables. The breakfast had a wide variety of choices to meet the guests needs I had asked for handicapped room and was excited there was only a walk in shower. A few of the floor tiles were slippery but there were grab bars.
