Central Plaza

The location was excellent for the rail station and exploring Zürich but the standards of the staff and cleanliness of the rooms and all areas made this a great choice. Luca on reception and the lady serving in the courtyard bar restaurant were a real credit to the hotel in terms of customer engagement and service.

Some building work going on next door but it didn’t disturb us at all.

The location is perfect

We stayed there at the beginning of our trip and again at the end of our trip. I spoke to the staff about the noise from the construction after our first day. They indicated they would move me to a different room on the other side of the hotel when I came back ten days later. They did not indicate that the room would cost twice as much.

Location , location, location. AC worked great as it gets really hot in the summer and the staff excellent. We stayed for 2 night and it was great to check out the main spots.

The location is excellent - close to the main train station and also the Limmat as well as old historic town. Many places are within walking distance. My room had a very nice view and was comfortable and clean. The hotel also has a decent bar and restaurant. The staff were friendly and obliging. I was overall very happy with my choice in this hotel and I would choose to stay here again on future visits to Zürich.

There was some construction noise from work being done on the other side of the hotel (in a side street) which started quite early in the morning so having a nice sleep-in on the first day of my holiday was not an option.
