Santa FeVery clean and well maintained. Bed was very comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
My main disappointment was in the bar/restaurant. In the bar area - service was very slow and waiters not attentive. I believe they lose a great deal of revenue because they do not offer service in the porch area. I heard many people complain that they had to wait a long time at the bar to get a drink to carry outside. Also, not offering finger food was also disappointing. While the restaurant offered upscale fare it did not seem appropriate for the bar.
Best location, close to the plaza shops and good food.
Very nice room close to everything. Walking distance to all conveniences. Sitting out on the front veranda was a highlight.
The only problem we had was that the Wi-Fi was not reaching our room sufficiently
Location and historic story
Size of the bath, quality of lighting in the room and the bath.
The mattress in our room is too soft or it is already in a state of disrepair; it sags easily, and the bed caused me back pain.
Excellent location, excellent service, and the little wine tasting area is a jewel.
Nothing I can think of.
Location
I'm someone who usually doesn't leave posts like this, but this time I'm writing because I'm so angry and disappointed. I stayed at this hotel for two nights. I chose it because it was close to downtown and I liked the clean bedding after looking at the photos. However, on the day I arrived, the room with two beds that I paid an additional $50 for was on the first floor, and the smell of mold hit my nose when I entered. The light between the beds didn't come on and it was dark even in broad daylight. I was able to endure this up to this point, but the most difficult thing was that there were tons of ants. My daughter and I couldn't sleep at all all night due to the endless number of small ants climbing up to the bed. The next day, we inquired at the hotel and moved to a room on the third floor, but the ants were already in our luggage, so we had to shake out all our belongings just in case there were ants. We are having trouble sleep right now, worrying that it would happen again. I couldn't believe I was having this kind of experience in an expensive hotel, and most importantly, I was so annoyed and angry that I couldn't get a good night's sleep. Since English is not my native language, I felt like they gave me a random room in a corner and even had to pay extra for it. I'm not sure what other hotels around here are like, but I would never stay at this hotel again.
Staff great. Great location. Great bar. Great wine tasting. Great location.
