Marmalade is grade “B” listed building, dating back to 1817. Boat and distillery trips depart from Portree and the rocky hill The Old Man of Storr is 7 miles away. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout. The spacious rooms overlook the landscaped garden, Portree Bay, and the outline of Cuillin Hills. Guests can enjoy an private bathroom, tea and coffee making facilities and a flat-screen TV. Breakfast is served daily and includes a buffet-style continental, and a cooked Full Scottish option. Passable
When you pay almost 500 eur per one night stay you pretend a very high level service. A part from the guy at the reception and the young guy at breakfast (both very kind), the rest was a total disaster. Service very slow and staff not enough careful.

Location is good. Facilities are good. Spacious room. Breakfast is very good, ordered to cook, just need more time.
A bit over priced. Very few choices available in the popular tourist spot. Not many restaurants around, better to plan ahead.

Location
Massively overpriced, music blaring in kitchen below room 7 from 6.30am. Friends had ordered surprise bottle and gifts for our arrival and they forgot. Delivered it at 9.30pm when we had already had to go to town for a drink.

Unprofessional reception, chaotic breakfast, no lift, unwelcoming atmosphere, shabby exterior, grossly overpriced, position not suitable for those with compromised minds bility. Would not return or recommend.
