The style is superb! Vintage, modern with a touch of luxury. Different restaurants for all tastebuds, beautiful scenery of the pools (there are several pools) and the hotel is right next to the beach. Chairs and towels are available to us and many activities included (banana boat, kayak and paddle board).
- A deposit of $600 CAN is too much - Service quality wasn’t the greatest. It’s a luxury hotel. We expect an exquisite customer service with appropriate greetings. Staff should also be well informed of the hotel, ex: parking area, my partner and I asked 2 different people (they were both working in front of the hotel, directing the arrivals) for the parking Exemple: At the restaurant, the waiters look disgruntled. For most of them, you can see that their smile is "forced". I feel like I'm bothering them. For example, we had a reservation at Mirabella for 9:30 and I felt pressure to finish my plate as quickly as possible, since the staff around our table were rushing to tidy/clean everything, ready to take my plate... I would have liked to take my time and enjoy the discussion with my partner while tasting my wine... Same thing with Valet Parking, felt like I was bothering them. It was also hard did us to identify the Valet. Strongly recommend adding « Valet » on their uniform and having a welcoming greeting … specially for the price per night … we deserve an exquisite service.
