Casa del Jaguar Beach Hotel

Beautiful boutique hotel on North beach. The infinity pool was amazing. The included breakfast was really fabulous!

The bathroom door would not open all the way due to the shower being in the way, so it was really hard to get in and out of the bathroom.

Breakfast, location, staff, all excellent. We loved our stay here, and would highly recommend this property. Amazing beach location, and literally a 10 minute walk to anywhere you want.

A couple of small things. I asked for a glass of tap water at the beach bar, and was told quite sternly that this was not possible, and I had to spend money on a bottle of water. We received a glass of water every morning at breakfast no problem. I think this was a money grab. Cant be a five star hotel and force people to buy bottles of water. Second was the lighting at night on the stairs and path leading out of the reception area. It was very dark at night, and needs some additional lighting to be safe.

The location was amazing and it was great to have a pool and private beach. Really enjoyed our stay here.

Its quite expensive as one of the nicer hotels on the island. But aside from that it was really amazing

We really enjoyed this resort! Our room was about a 100 ft from the beach and we had to pass by the beach club, restaurant, and pool along our way! The bar tenders, front desk, cleaning staff were all attentive, super friendly and helpful. The beach was fantastic, the water is crystal clear, with plenty of fish and no strong currents, or sorghum grass like you find in Cancun. Don't forget your snorkel gear. Breakfast was also included. There was really no reason to leave this resort during our stay! We usually don't vacation at the same place twice, but this resort will be an exception! Enjoy!
