Big SurI didnt get the room I paid for - the website shows the room have a kitchen but I got Room 18 which doesnt have any kitchen, not even a microwave. Theres no room service at all besides wood drop off daily. Restaurant was overpriced serving spoiled food.

Nothing
Quiet.
Service was slow -- understaffed and even grouchy.
Cozy woods
Needed more thorough cleaning
We loved being connected to the state park for hikes and beauty. We liked that there was an on-site restaurant. The room was cozy and cute overall.
Some of the staff were less than welcoming, as noted in many reviews. However, we had a good waitress at the restaurant and there was a friendly gentleman at the desk at one point. Our dinner at the restaurant was good; however, I did have to ask for a new salad as the first one came out with rotten spinach. One thing to note is that there was no soap in the room bathroom to wash hands!
We rode around and looked at the campgrounds in Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park. We really liked the campground area and would reconsider camping there. These high priced cabins were a rip off
The Pfeiffer Lodge tries to pretend it's a lodge but it fails to perform. Cabins are dilapidated and in dire need of refurbishing. Manager Garret is too busy telling you what they can't do instead of working at what he can do. Typical government run facility at its worse. If we had understood this we would have never booked it.
The cabin was very spacious. The bed was very comfortable. It was very quiet. A good driving distance from lots to see.
