I have always wanted to stay here. I t was way overpriced and then I had to pay 60$ extra for parking ( self) that was not very conveniently located… beach chairs and umbrellas were extra …. so it didn’t really feel that comfortable on the beach. The pool was overcrowded and entry door was not in service and it felt like caddy shack at pool and we barely got a chair! The general public was mixed in and had the same privileges as the paying guest…. that part was a bummer ….. I felt like I paid and was still tested like the public as they had access to just about everything that I overpaid for …. it was quite the disappointment that I hadn’t expected ☹️ I will never pay that much to ever stay in a hotel that is overcrowded with the public .. one time was enough ….. they did let me checkin in early so me and my daughter could explore the area ….. so that was a plus …… overall a okay experience….. but wayyyyyy overpriced!!!!
How the general public was mixed in with the paying guests to get into the pool ( lax security) felt like caddy shack at the pool…paying for parking was a bummer on top of the overpriced rate …. our lights didn’t work in the bathroom they came snd fixed it but it was after showering and getting ready for dinner in the dark????
Location was good
Service and staff were really bad, skipped cleaning our room, even though i called them. Didnt help with luggage during checkout, valet was also dissapointing.
Amazing location with everything nearby
It’s beautiful and full of history! The rooms were recently updated and gorgeous. The bathroom shower had a handheld nozzle and great water pressure. The TV was huge! They upgraded our room to oceanfront and we loved the view!
We didn’t like that it was a far walk to the restaurants or that there wasn’t room service.
Spent 45 minutes trying to figure out how to get my luggage from my car to my room talk to five different people and got five different answers. Had me running around in circles. I also was traveling with as a family of four and every single day room service would only leave me either one or two washcloths, every afternoon I had to spend time chasing down maids or sitting on hold for the concierge/front desk to have it corrected
Location and the access to the beach, with lots of restaurant options
The bed was very uncomfortable--very bumpy and I couldn't lay flat. The showerhead was gross-had black gunk that fell off when I turned it on the first time and the water pressure of the sink and the shower was so bad we gave up on trying to wash off the sand and sunscreen.
