The staff were all very friendly, even though they were working in what seems like conditions that should be illegal. It was FREEZING cold in the "lobby" at the check-in desk. Employees were bundled up like they were outside because it was the only way to stay warm. It's totally ridiculous to expect employees to work in these conditions.
The air quality, the comfort of the lobby, and the parking ranged from not good to dangerous. The heat and air unit in our room was blowing something that made us all very sick. We could not stop coughing when the unit was on and it was muggy when it was off. It made for a very uncomfortable night. 24 hours after leaving we were all fine. At $300 + a night, this hotel is super basic. The parking is an outdoor lot is an open lot, a block away with no -in and out privileges. We asked for Valet upon arrival but told it wasn't available. It was freezing walking to the hotel and it's $50 a "calendar" day, not 24 hours- this is written in very small letters when you pull in. Additionally, there is nothing within walking distance in the winter in the hotel. It is far from the Seaport so plan to spend extra $ to Uber even for a coffee. The food and drink options in the hotel are extremely limited.
Staff was rude af.
Being treated poorly because they don't like their jobs.
Staff was very friendly. Rooms were comfortable. It has a great gym, live music and great restaurant.
the neighborhood is still developing but there are good options for restaurants within a short walk . They charged for some expenses that did not correspond but solve the issue right away without inconveniences.
Clean and comfortable room, efficient elevators. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Feels a bit out of the way, around 30-40 minutes walk to touristy areas and not directly on a bus/T route so a little walk to public transport. Inconvenient to return during the day due to this, so hardly used the hotel facilities. . Probably just Boston prices for this time of year - but at $400 per night, felt very expensive for mid week nights in an out of the way neighbourhood. Suited more to conferences or business travel than general tourist travel. Stayed here as friends had already booked - but I wouldn't stay again. Not unhappy with the stay at all, just didn't feel like great value for money to me.
