We liked the convenience of Ft. Lauderdale Beach via the walkway. The pool and bar staff were excellent and constantly catered to everyone. The location of room 1101 was awesome!
We scheduled daily room makeup for the week at check-in. We only had the bed made one time. I had to beg the cleaning staff for coffee sugar and creamer as they cleaned the other rooms on my floor. They checked the clipboard but my room was not scheduled. According to the amenities for the king ocean front we should have received 2 bottles of water and fresh towels along with the coffee and associated room items replenished . Nothing! I needed some ice from the ice machine. Our ice machine had a sign that said out of order to use the 10th or 14th floor for ice.. I went down one floor to the 10th floor but that ice machine was also inoperable with a sign to use the 14th floor ice machine. Are you kidding! The air conditioner cycled loudly all night and day. The carpet and floor under the air conditioner was soaking wet. We knew that the resort was older but expected the fit, finish and service of the Hilton standard. I guess her age may have changed the priority for a high level of the aforementioned. We live just hours away and wanted to celebrate my wife's birthday and our 41st anniversary. The brightline makes getting here easy. I don't know where stay now on my next visit.
The staff was incredible and understanding. Set us up for a refund request as soon as they heard our complaints.
The room has misleading views, wasn't vacuumed or dusted before we got there. The metal in the room was beginning to rust. The furniture was breaking and was covered in stains. Lastly, the curtains were covered in bug bites.
Beautiful. Clean. Great location.
All was good!
The breakfast was delicious and the service was great. It was a great location with the bridge taking you right across to the beach. Also, having Marina Village within walking distance was a plus.
My room wasn't ready until 5pm. Although the room is spacious, it needs some TLC. The carpet and crown molding near the AC wall unit is rotted. The shower curtain in yellow. The balcony cannot be considered a balcony... you can barely step out. Also, the elevators take forever!
Location 4th of July activities
Housekeeping never showed up.
The location was excellent. Although I didn’t visit the beach, it was close by, and the water taxi stop was conveniently located right nearby.
The hotel is quite dated. The bathroom appeared worn and unclean, and it took a very long time for the bathtub to fill with hot water.
