We have been treated so well, above and beyond our expectations. Owners are genuinely kind, caring and helpful, and if we would go back to Zanzibar, we would again stay there!

We had an incredible 7-day stay in Bwejuu. Pia and Hasim are wonderful hosts who are very attentive and knowledgeable - they more than deserve their 10/10 Booking.com rating. Thanks to Pia and Hasim, we had an amazing dolphin and turtle tour in Kizimkazi, spice farm and stone town tour and saw the Michivami sunset. Every step of the way all tours and transfers organised by our hosts went smoothly - with excellent reliable guides and taxi drivers. The hotel is lovely in a quiet part of Zanzibar with a great restaurant and lovely staff. Huge breakfasts, free bikes, canoe, complimentary snorkling and boat trips - we couldnt ask for more! Overall, the hotel is amazing value for money and the perfect place to switch off on holiday - with fantastic Starlink internet speeds as a bonus!

Great beach hotel and restaurant. What makes this location special are the owners and the staff. They are all so kind and ready to help you. The food is great, fresh and tasty, there's no need to search in other places. Overall a great experience!

The African Paradise Beach Hotel fully lives up to its name. From the very first moment in this hotel, we felt at home. In Paradise! The kindests owners do everything and even more to please their guests. Everything is perfectly clean, the breakfast is very rich (three-course or maybe more), and all the staff is very kind and responsive. We tried almost the entire menu of the restaurant and everything was great and delicious. Pia organized our transfers from Stonetown and then to Nungwi at a very reasonable price. We also had a free snorkeling boat ride. Warm greetings to all of you, guys - your hotel will forever remain in my heart. I would love to see you again someday. Wish you all the best!

This place was exactly what I was looking for to relax after my safari adventures. It's peaceful and away from tourist crowds, which for me was a big plus. The beach is right in front of the hotel and it is stunning, it looks like a beach from a postcard. The owners of the hotel are very welcoming and do everything they can to make you feel comfortable. They make sure you feel at home and have the best experience. Any issue or question you might have, they are always there to assist. I also recommend booking activities and day trips via the hotel. I was planning to visit other restaurants outside the hotel, but ended up eating at the hotel restaurant every day. The breakfast is big and tasty, dinner options are delicious. I liked the wine and the cocktails as well. I booked a room with a terrace and had a beautiful view on the beach. The rooms are clean, I always had hot shower and strong wifi. I highly recommend this place, it truly feels like a little paradise.

There is no AC in the room. For me it is no problem at all, as I don't like sleeping with AC on. But might be important for some people.

Nice small hotel with very friendly owners pair:) Just at the beach, you can borrow bicycles, beach shoes. Breakfast fresh, tasty and not repeating every morning. A lot of fresh fruits! You can enjoy also a good lunch or dinner, if you do not want to go to some other places. Nobody disturbs you on the beach! Paje beach with many kite surfing schools and more bars/ restaurants just 10 min by bicycle.

Maybe a swimming pool would be a good additional attraction, as the water goes away from the beach during the low tide.
