I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with my recent stay at your hotel, particularly with the concierge service, which fell far below the standards I expected from a 5-star establishment. Before our arrival, we made a specific request to the concierge to secure a reservation at a restaurant they recommended for New Year’s Eve. We explicitly asked for a dinner reservation where we could stay until after midnight to ring in the New Year. The concierge confirmed that we would be seated at the bar to accommodate this request. However, after dinner at 9:45 PM, the restaurant manager informed us that our reservation did not include staying past midnight and asked us to leave. Despite calling the hotel’s concierge multiple times for assistance, we were misled when the concierge claimed to be in contact with the restaurant manager while we were standing directly in front of him, and the manager denied ever speaking to anyone from the hotel. This left us no choice but to leave the restaurant and spend the remainder of the evening walking in the cold and rain. This situation was especially disappointing given the importance of the occasion. Additionally, we were never offered an apology by the concierge or the hotel, which further compounded our frustration. Furthermore, upon our arrival, we were told by a security guard that we were not allowed to take photos in front of the Christmas decorations in the lobby, which felt unnecessarily restrictive and added to our sense of discomfort. For a hotel of this caliber, I expected impeccable service, attention to detail, and professionalism across all aspects of our stay. Regrettably, our experience did not meet these expectations, and we will be hesitant to return or recommend your services in the future. I hope you will take this feedback seriously and address the areas where your service fell short.
