Great location!
Needs an update ASAP - conflicting hotel brand when your in the room and the key cards say different hotel. Stains on carpet, marks on wall and roof of bathroom, no duvet covers.
Cheap. Friendly. Good location. Micro. Fridge. Clean but run down. Mattress.
No shower water. No towels. Summer only as you can see daylight around the door.
Nothing
The room was very dirty and was really run down. I was shocked how dirty the sheets were and there were black marks on the door ...finger prints ...very disappointed
When I had originally booked this hotel the pictures looked like it was clean and comfortable. We travelled from Alberta, so since I am no regular of Saskatchewan I had thought this was a steal of a deal. I drive to the hotel and right away I had to make sure this was the proper place. It is in a terrible area of town. When we walk to check in the office is in one of the hotel rooms. They are totally unorganized. The one clerk gave our reservation to someone else and she tried to tell me they had no rooms. Unfortunately no other hotels had rooms because of the fires and evacuatees. She figured it out and found two “open” rooms. She set us up with the room right beside the office. My mom asks “is it even safe here” and the lady goes “oh yes, there’s security cameras everywhere”. I am sorry but security cameras do nothing. We get in the room and I could not believe my eyes. It’s a completely run down motel. The face clothes are so damn thin they are worn out. Luckily no bed bugs because we did check. But seriously? I understand it’s a cheap price but the least you can do is have it cleaned, have proper pluming, clean the damn shower and tub, and spend some extra money on the linens. The first day we go for supper and when we come back there is homeless and a prostitute leaving the lot. At 3:30 am my mom was awoken by the upstairs people yelling and slamming her door multiple times The second day there were homeless lurking in the parking lot. Then we were BOTH awoken by a drunken man (i’m assuming) banging on a door so hard and yelling. You truly do get what you pay for but don’t let the pictures fool you. It’s run down and definitely not nice. I will never be returning here and I have never been so happy checking out of a hotel.
The staff were amazing, nice and patient when we had issues with the card for the room.
The first room we were put in was half made, someone's belongings were still in the room, and there was a mystery substance on the wall. The second room was fully made but had mystery stains on the floor by the bed and the mini fridge and tuck tape on the window which looked like it had been punched. It's very loud at all hours of the night, good for a quick stay but I personally will not be returning.
