Pousada Maracabana Spa

Beautiful location, right on the beach. Room was very comfortable with a terrific view. Breakfast was nice. There were a few restaurants and bars close by, but the pousada is only a few minutes by car to Porto de Galinhas for more options.

The room was absolutely beautiful and we couldn't believe how close we were to the beach. The staff were all so friendly and the infinity pool was really the cherry on the cake. We loved the location, much quieter than the main beach, the sea is a bit rougher but it's worth getting Uber to the town centre in the evenings to avoid the crazy tourism during the day if you really just want to switch off from it all. The food was lovely too!

The only thing missing for us was gym facilities. It was too hot to really go for a run so we missed exercising whilst we were there.

The pousada had a lovely view of the beach and was really close to Pontal de Maracaipe, which really was a lovely place! The staff was really friendly and keen to help.

It is a nice hotel but a bit rough around the edges (all fixable things!). The air conditioner was placed above the bed, so it would drip on our heads during the night. There was a bit of mold in the bathroom (I should note though that it looked really clean otherwise). The pool looked a bit dirty, I think because there was no shower close by, so people maybe got in without rinsing the salt/sand from the beach, lastly there were leak spots in the common area when it rained.
