Lovely independent hotel with great customer service. Fairly central and convenient. The bed was really comfortable. Really loved the grilled cheese and tomato soup on the room service menu. In terms of being able to work with colleagues, there was a space near reception where you could work. Not huge and at busier times I can imagine it would be pretty busy
The room was a little dated ie the tv wasn't particularly new so you couldn't do basic stuff like browse the tv guide or cast your own device to watch your own stuff. The room menu was fairly limited
Location, very clean
I love The Mayflower. I stay here every time I’m in Seattle. It has an older, European hotel vibe but with all the modern amenities. The staff are very friendly. The location can’t be beat with being attached to the Westlake Center and steps away from the lightrail. If you don’t like cookie cutter chain hotels that charge extra for everything, you’ll really enjoy staying here. The bar, Oliver’s, makes great cocktails and the food from Andaluna’s is top notch. Order room service. It’s delicious and reasonably priced compared to other hotels.
Really lovely location with a bar and restaurant on site. The view from the 11th floor room was fabulous. And it was a paltry 5 minute walk to Pikes Place.
The parking was expensive at $50 a day plus tax. But then everything in Seattle has a tax associated with it.
the room had two bathrooms which was great and the beds were comfortable the check out was good and the concierge helpful easy location close to most things
the restaurant has terrible coffee at breakfast (and int he rooms) the reception staff was not great at all when we arrived... the gym is super limited the overall condition of our room and the hotel in general needs new paint and carpet- it all feels somewhat dingy
