Breakfast was great and so was the pool area

Once we checked into the room we decided to rest for a bit before heading out. The bed was SO uncomfortable. The mattress sank in as soon as we sat on the bed & the mattress was making so much noise as if the springs in it were broken. I called the reception to ask if they could change our room due to the mattress issues & we were told to wait for a call back. We get the call back and they said to come down to the lounge area while a "technician" fixes the bed by flipping the mattress. We went down and I asked again can't you just give us another room and that we didn't mind to be downgraded from our original booking we just want a comfortable bed and I didn't see how flipping the mattress was gonna work. The manager said they have no other rooms available & were told to wait. Waited for over 30 mins and still nothing. While sitting in the lobby I started checking their website & booking.com & they had plenty of rooms available including premium king rooms which we had booked. So that was really confusing as were we told they have no other rooms available that we could switch to. We then just went to the manager and asked her to cancel our reservation & we ended up staying at NH collection which was 10000000x better so much more luxurious for the same price!
