Clean, nice terrace rooftop area, guest living around were quiet.
The ambulance siren or the fire trucks kept going off every now and then all night, it was hard to sleep.
The location is excellent, downtown. This area of Chicago is highly walkable. Close to the River, the beans, Michigan Ave... Nice staff. The light in the room, with its numerous windows, was terrific.
The bathroom was slightly outdated. The room was smaller than we were expecting. We moved forward with the upgrade for the city view, but we were disappointed. The view wasn't particularly great, and it wasn't worth spending the extra money.
Location was ok.
Room cleaning was not good. The air conditioner was very noisy while operating. It was either overheating the room or stopping the heating altogether. Additionally, the air from the unit really irritated my throat. It made things quite difficult for us, especially in the cold Chicago weather. I had stayed other Royal Sonesta Hotel which is just 2-3 blocks away from this before, it was much better.
