Best hotel we have ever been to !!! Incredible views, stunning beach, outstanding service, beautiful sunsets and perfect rooms !
Amazing location, amenities and the overwater villa was stunning
I stayed in a beautiful over lagoon room with a plunge pool and would definitely stay in a similar type of accommodation! I only had breakfast, but that was first class. Check out was very smooth and I know they were flexible with departure time if your flight was delayed. The location was safe including wandering off to the gym at night even though there was a buggy available to take you anywhere else on the property if you preferred. I had a lovely stay including their help organising two tours which went smoothly.
I am not convinced that the cost is justified compared to the other options.
The location of the resort is fantastic if the weather is fine. The staff is very friendly and helpful but is a bit limited in solving problems. The bungalow was very nice both in terms of location and interior. The room service was excellent. A good fitness studio, is available, although a bit limited in terms of equipment and internet availability. For snorkelling, there is a very nice coral garden with plenty of interesting fish.
It can be noticed in several areas that the resort is already some 15 years old and significantly used up. The prices are far too high for what was actually available. The charging policy was partially different from what was predicted by booking.com. 2 nights were charged immediately and the remaining amount 4 weeks before arrival. All non-refundable. Total amount lost (including breakfast) for no shows, no matter for what reason. The final bill came on 3 pages as every night had 5 components and, in the end, even 6 per night. 2 meals were listed which we did not have. The total price was higher than originally confirmed. The bill was corrected after some discussion to what was originally announced but on the day of departure, some minor tax was added again. I gave up and paid. Breakfast is rather limited but comes at $ 65 per person. Champagne is charged extra with $ 29 per glass. Every day the same boring products. 3 kinds of cheese, 3 types of cold cut meat, 6 types of vegetables, some fish but never any seafood like shrimps, king crab legs, scallops, caviar, etc. The selection of eggs was very good but availability of fruits was very limited. For dinner there are 3 restaurants available with limited choice and quality. Everything is basically extremely expensive, whether it is cocktails, food, excursions or anything else. Occasionally, we had extremely loud music in the pool area for several hours which was not turned down despite several people complaining about it. Snorkeling in the lagoon is not possible as there is nothing to see. Only white sand perfect for swimming.
The staff were amazing and the villa was superb.
It is very hard to fault anything with this property perhaps the only complaint would be that some of the food was inconsistent in quality but that would be being picky!
