The Dog & Doublet is a newly renovated country inn located in the village of Sandon, 5 miles from Stafford. It offers individually designed bedrooms, free Wi-Fi and home-cooked food. Rooms at the family-run Dog & Doublet Inn feature flat-screen TVs and tea/coffee-making facilities. Rooms include bathrooms with showers or baths. Perfect clean room, lovely breakfast and perfect location for visiting Alton towers

The bedroom was nice and clean. The breakfast was really value for money and tasty

Delightful place to stay & affordable

Perfect overnight stay after a hard day of retail therapy in town. The staff were amazing throughout from check-in to breakfast the following morning. Awesome food in the restaurant and indulged in a 3 course meal. The young waitress was delightful. Breakfast was very tasty, I had Staffordshire oatcakes. The lady was very bubbly & chatty. Would definitely recommend. Thank you team Doublet

Breakfast was very good on both mornings.

Room 7 was leaking due to torrential rain. Was given room 5 for the 2nd nights stay.
