Everything was good location cleanness….
Upon arrival at the hotel, despite having completed the check-in process in advance, received a text confirmation, and paid with my own credit card (with payment confirmation from my bank), I was met with an unnecessarily rude and unprofessional attitude from the receptionist. The only issue was that the first name on my reservation was my nickname, while the last name matched exactly with my ID. I provided all supporting documents to verify my identity and payment, yet I was still treated disrespectfully. This was an unreasonable and disappointing way to be welcomed, especially at the very start of my trip.
Well located in Ottawa, good leisure facilities and comfortable beds (including the additional bed in the family room). Walkable to parliament buildings etc and a bit of a longer walk to museum
Ottawa itself didn’t feel worth the trip, so although the hotel was nice and the staff lovely, I wouldn’t go back
The staff were incredibly helpful and so friendly, each and every time we interacted. Upon check-in we were provided a map of the city and were told of events happening that weekend. We had only a couple of questions throughout the stay, but were always treated with professionalism, honesty, and kindness. The location was unbeatable for exploring the city on foot, with the NAC, Canal, tours, and Busker's Fest all within just a few minutes walk. The room was clean, comfortable, and the views of the city were gorgeous. Overall a wonderful stay!
The only thing that was slightly disappointing was that we booked a corner room with the balcony, and while the balcony was amazing providing for incredible views at all times of the day, it would have been so much nicer to have had a couple of chairs provided out there so that we could more comfortably enjoy it. But I still brought a book out early in the morning and enjoyed the city waking up, I just did so by sitting on the ground lol.
My kids like the swimming pool, and I'm satisfied with the location.
The first floor public washroom isn't clean, the guest didn't flash it and the staff didn't find any clean it on time.
Location is good for exploring the city. Breakfast was good
