The staff was very friendly and helpful. The accommodations were very comfortable, modern and clean. It was truly one of the best experiences I have ever had during my stay at a hotel.
There was not one thing I did not like.
Excellent place. Great location in the art district. Great designs and decor. Friendly staff. Would definitely stay again.
Loved the breakfast - unfortunately I wasnât told until the second day that most of the menu was not included. Only a few items from the refrigerator and a premade burrito. So much for the included breakfast.
First, the hotel didnât answer my calls from 7-8pm when I had just arrived and wanted to know if they recommended a nearby restaurant (walking distance). Instead I went straight to hotel because it said they had a restaurant. Thereâs no reception (self check in, which wouldnât accept my information so I had to find help), no restaurant in the evenings (only breakfast). I ubered to a restaurant about a mile away and walked back. In the morning I found a cute set of instructions for making coffee on the door, got water down the hall, followed all instructions but couldnât find the coffee. Only tea. I looked everywhere! Called the hotel and was told there was no coffee in the room - but I could come down (in my pjâs??) and get some for free or buy their brand for my room. Ugh. I got dressed and got coffee and a really delicious omelet - no complaints on the breakfast. Then because this trip was all about treating myself, I looked forward to the rooftop hot tub. I got in, only person there, great temperature and weather, and about 15 minutes later they began very loud work on the hot tub next to me. Ended up being very loud for a few HOURS. I mentioned it to staff but no one thought a better solution would be to wait until guests arenât using it! Too many strikes for a good review. I really wanted to love Catbird.
