Well located. Receptionists and staff are very helpful. Very smooth and easy check in and check out.
Being obliged to pay for the resort fee although I didn’t use any of the facilities, nor did I have the time to do so.
Honestly I was pretty disappointed by this property! We only really enjoyed our room and the Balla restaurant, everything else was a bit of a let down. Our only true positives were the modern clean and comfortable rooms and our bartender (Lisa I think) from the Italian restaurant Balla. She was super friendly, very professional and served a great drink. Her conversational skills were really refreshing and she was overall our highlight of the stay. The resort was conveniently located near the monorail and cheaper food alternatives such as Subway and McDonalds, however this came at a price (discussed in the ‘property negatives’ below). Honestly, if it were not for the perfectly prepared room, the exciting room layout and architecture, and of course our pleasant experience with the Balla bartender and delicious food and drinks within that restaurant, I probably would’ve scored this hotel much lower!
I thought this property was not very good value for money, the pool hours were ridiculously bad and it closed super early at 6pm. Not only this but the pool was very small and as such very overcrowded! This was particularly terrible considering it was during a heatwave and the property is considered a resort or at least charged resort fees. We found the location of the property pretty unsafe and we were hassled 3 times by homeless people & men outside which really wasn’t appreciated as we are two girls doing our best to stay out of trouble. We didn’t expect to have to pay such a high damage deposit on our arrival, due to this we had a lot less spending money for the city itself.
