Great location, great service and very clean.
I’ve stayed here many times and will continue to come back but my same suggestion is to have a refrigerator in the rooms. We are in the good capital and there is never anywhere to bring left overs back or to store other types of drinks. Complaint this time is also that the pillows are not great. Left with a pretty sore neck after 4 nights. Need better pillows .
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful
No hot tub
Breakfast was convenient, as always. The hotel is located in the heart of Charleston, so everything is walkable. It is very easy and close to the College of Charleston, which we visited for our campus tour. I would stay here again.
It is an older building and the bathrooms were a bit dated.
The location of the property was fabulous, however for the price, the rooms could certainly do with an overhaul - they are somewhat tired and dated. Except for a terrible check-in experience from a very detached (bordering on rude) front desk person, our stay was comfortable. I would however like to commend two front desk managers who were the exact opposite and were extremely pleasant to deal with.
I only had 1 morning I could have the breakfast due to conference early start. I would rate it as a normal hotel breakfast.
People above us were very loud and one night people were running through the hallway. Quite disturbing. I asked for a room on the top floor but I had them feeling our check in person did not want to change things. She never said nothing on the top floor is available. I was also told I would be emailed my receipt as desk attendant was on the phone doing inventory when we left. Our check out was 11/3/24 and it is 11/7/24 and I still don’t have a receipt.
Breakfast was very good, and location was very good
Everything was wonderful
Rooms were clean and comfortable. Good location.
Room didn’t have a refrigerator or a safe.
