I enjoyed the fish traveling up the creek. Spent my evening watching them, as i couldn't use the pool.
I was very disappointed. It wasn't my first time being here, but the quality has definitely declined. The bedskirts were not in place and were draped onto the floor. I paid extra for a pool side room and the first chair i sat in was broken. There was hair and scum floating in the pool. And there were 24 screaming children in the pool area at one time, not being supervised, which quite ruined my visit.
The staff were welcoming and very helpful. Loved the atrium in the middle of the hotel, surrounding the rooms (so different). The rooms were very quiet and the beds were extremely comfortable.
Great AC and comfortable bed.
Was told view of the river but just a view of an indoor stream as part of the lounge.
The housekeepers were very nice and the pool area was great.
The first couple nights I was given a room with a very hard bed which was not at all comfortable but after a couple of nights they changed rooms. The rooms themselves were dated and a bit dark.
The atrium included a pool, hot tub and a mountain stream with large fish swimming up stream. This is an absolute must visit if you are going to be in Vernon.
Staff were amazing. Rooms large, quiet, clean.
