Hotel Landy Orlando Universal Blvd. a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

Perfect location, near to the Universal Parks, and also the main attractions in the city. The hotel was clean and quiet, and the staff was supportive and friendly. Great choice to stay in Orlando.

The AC was super loud and strong, regardless of the temperature or fan speed. The breakfast options could be improved, we didn’t really like any of the options. Other than that, everything was great.

We have previously stayed at this property before the rebrand, and loved it, so we had high hopes. The pool was dirty with trash floating in it all 3 times we went. There was never any towels by the pool, and when we asked, the front desk got snippy with us because “too many people” had asked and told us to “give them some time”, even though we had no idea anyone else had asked. The waitstaff at the market was extremely rude to my husband for asking a simple question about how the reimbursement worked. Overall, not worth the money.

Hotel Landy Orlando Universal Blvd., makes a strong first impression with its modern design and vibrant lobby. The check-in process was smooth and welcoming Renea, in particular, was incredibly kind and informative. The common areas like the lobby and breakfast space had a stylish, upbeat vibe. Also, the breakfast was surprisingly delicious and well-prepared.

The experience did not meet expectations. Although we had booked a skyline view room, we were told at check-in that the hotel was overbooked. As a result, we were given an “upgrade,” which we appreciated in theory, but the room was located on the 3rd floor with a direct view of the trash area not the skyline view we had reserved. The condition of the room itself was very disappointing. It felt humid and musty throughout. The entrance light flickered repeatedly before turning on, and the bathroom was particularly concerning there was urine and hair around the toilet, which made the space feel unclean and neglected. I took photos of the room to document its condition, as it was not what we expected from this hotel. When we went to the front desk to express our dissatisfaction, the staff member we spoke to after check-in was unhelpful and not friendly. They were unwilling to move us to another room due to overbooking. It wasn’t until the next morning, after speaking with a third front desk agent, that we were finally moved to a room on the 10th floor, which had a much better view and was noticeably cleaner. The public areas also need attention the pool furniture had visible mold, which made it uninviting and unsanitary. Overall, the poor room conditions, lack of cleanliness, and inconsistent customer service made for a very disappointing stay. Based on this experience, I would not return to Hotel Landy.

Comfortable Beds and nice décor throughout the hotel. Quiet clean hotel with a good pool plus the sun beds were fab.

Just wished the gym was cooler

We had the junior suite, and it was amazing. I do wish there was a certain way to separate the living room area from the bedroom area for privacy, but it still was very clean and the view was amazing.

I wish the hallways werent so stuffy and hot when you come out of your room, we constantly had to ask for pool towels to be restocked. Otherwise, great stay. The food is wonderful.
