MonopoliLoved the location, not far to drive to the various different old towns. We were a long stay in the off season and so they upgraded us which was wonderful as our little dog had her own private yard. The restaurant on site served delicious food plus the ambience of the typical Apulian styled property made it very authentic. Highly recommend a stay.
Such a welcoming and beautiful place with a fantastic restaurant and really large apartment. Stella at reception looked after us brilliantly.
The actual estate was gorgeous but it's a little out of town, you need to drive to the centre.
Amazing all round, such an awesome spot that we are glad we found!
Very historic & grand, breakfast & restaurant food delicious
The apartment was enormous and sumptuous, with views to the water and many verandahs to enjoy. The Masseria is stunning and the history of the area was beautifully told by our guide on the optional (paid) property tour. We also did a fantastic wine tasting with a most knowledgable and hospitable host. Each breakfast was delicious, loads of great food, fresh espresso coffee, meats, pastries, cakes and fruit and yoghurt. The dinner at their restaurant was fabulous and the service there was charming!
it was all good.
Friendly staff
As this stay was the most expensive of our trip to Puglia we had high expectations for this place, unfortunately they were not fulfilled. This so vallen resort looks very idyllic from the outside, but when you enter the apartment, it is very disappointing. The apartment is very average and old fashioned. In the kitchen all equipment is hidden in several wall storage spaces which is absolutely absurd. The sink, the dishwasher, electric stove all have there individual closet.,The bathroom is very unpleasant, the shower is equiped with a plastic shower curtain. The beds are uncomfotable with very poot mattress quality. The swimming pool was either for children, a plastic bath not made in the ground. The sun loungers at the pool area have filthy cushions with stains. Breakfast was not good either. The croissants served were probably at least a day old as they were very dry. The same freshness for the bread served. Most of the untouched food was served the next day. WIFi worked from time to time. For a resort you would expect in daily basis towels to be changed, beds to be made, bathroom cleaned. This luxury did not apply on this resort! We find it remarkable that the reviews on booking are so positive and all the same comment excellent and wonderfull. Hoe can you claim this location a resort in such circumstances? The price quality ratio is absolute deplorable.
