LH Suites Aparthotel NEW OPENING

Fair price for the time of year. no en-suite but was fine for me as a solo guest on a last minute booking to meet up with friends near the Schattberg Express which is about a mile away.

Dated but perfectly suitable for basic accommodation for skiing.

My poor rating is due to a very unprofessional checkin:reception process that the manager defended. On arrival just after check in time I was given the wrong room. I had booked a deluxe room with shower but was met on arrival by a cleaning lady with no English or German who, after what appeared to be consultation with someone in a back room, was given a small basement room with no shower and sheer curtains that were see through at night. I could not make her understand this was not what I booked. The next morning the manager gave me my correct room. No apology-it was deemed to be my fault as i didnt receive her WhatsApp message telling me where to get my key. I had entered my local phone number when I completed the online checkin form - which didnt ask for arrival time- but she dismissed this saying she never looks at that info. We had previously communicated successfully via email but she didnt try this. Her attitude, and total non/consideration of a partial refund for the first night, was appalling. She also said she didnt care about bad reviews as the house was being demolished within 1-3 years. This is my first ever bad reviews after decades of extensive travel. Also be aware that despite the toilet being listed as part of the room in the ad it is shared with 3-5 other rooms.

Location was good, bus stop right out front for access to the main resort bases, and T-bar lifts a short walk from the hotel. It's possible to ski down right behind the hotel using a shortcut from Trail #86, or to the front of the hotel by traversing along the walking path. Breakfast was fine, and there is a grocery market located an easy 10min walk down the road. Nice value for an area that seems more expensive than other Austrian ski resorts. Was easy to take the OBB train to Zell am See then a public bus to the hotel, and free ski buses or walking to get around while there.

When I booked a room with a "private shower" I didn't realize that there was no toilet in the room. However, the shared bathroom down the hall was fine. Very thin walls, I could hear every word from the neighboring room and every time the clunky entrance door was opened/closed. It was usually quiet after about 11pm but the evenings were noisy while people got settled in.

Basic but clean room with good hot shower and comfortable bed. Breakfast also fine for the price Bus stop for ski bus right outside. considering the price of most hotels in Saalbach, Linzerhaus is value for money. couple of restaurants 10 mins walk away

The ski slope is close to the pension, you can ski from the top of the moutains to the pension. Possibility of SKI Bus stop in front of the pension :) Breakfast good, choice. Heated ski room. Common room for evening relaxation. Our room for 4 of us was divided into 2 parts, which was great. Friendly staff and BOSS. We will come again :)
