ibis London Gatwick Airport

Easy to check in. Simple furnishings but comfortable and has everything you need.

There is a serious issue with the water pipes and noise in this hotel. Thin walls and old pipes so having stayed twice I have been woken up several times by the howling of water pipes when other guests use the taps or shower, which seeing as it’s an airport hotel, starts from 2am!

Very close to airport.

We were given the incorrect bus stop number by hotel staff for the shuttle from the airport.

The room was ok. Shuttle bus stopped right in front.

Service was barely there, food was not the best and no where to walk to get your own. More of a pub with a hotel. Definitely not the same as the Ibis in Southampton. Lady at the bar was not much of a bartender. Gentleman at reception when we got there early, was nice though.

Friendly staff, clean facilities and comfortable beds. I tucked my 5 years old son in bed and he said "aaww this is the most comfortable bed I have slept on in my whole life"

The stench from the smokers outside in the reception/dining area.
