Quality Hotel Fallsview Cascade

The location was perfect. Kids loved the pool

Dingy. Our room was dingy and hairballs/dirty floors in our room.

The breakfast was decent, the staff was okay, the location is great for walking to the falls.

The room was dirty - stains on pillows and bedskirts, dirty floor. The TV didn't work, coffee maker was dirty. The bathroom sink was leaking and didn't drain properly. Very loud - we could hear the guests above and next to us. This is a motel- not a hotel as it sounds. Lots of noise from the street. Did not sleep well because the bed was awful - sunk so low into it that I felt the springs. When I finally fell asleep I was woken up abruptly by a very loud banging and scratching from what sounded like the closet. It sounded like an animal or something was about to break out of it. Very glad that I was able to check out early and get some money back. I would not have stayed there a second night!

Rooms are a bit tired, could be more than one disabled parking space closer to the reception. Or hotel entrance.

Lovely hotel, really excellent location, only a few minutes walk down the hill to the Niagara Falls. You can fall asleep to the sound of the mighty falls, you are that close. Easy to find, plenty of free parking. Large, clean room with comfortable bed. Coffee maker in room, but also free, ready made coffee available in reception. Daily housekeeping with clean towels and topped up toiletries, coffee bags, etc. Reasonable number of options for breakfast, from OJ, coffee, cereal, toast, muffins, scrambled eggs and make them yourself waffles. Not top quality (avoid the sausages!) but all enjoyable, especially the waffles, of which we ate many. We would happily stay here again.

We were surprised the receptionist did not mention the 10pm free firework display at the falls. We only found out about them by accident, as we were walking back to the hotel when they started. Great coffee, but a choice of tea (not just orange tea), would be nice. The option of bacon and better quality sausages would also improve breakfast. But these are personal preferences.

For the price we paid, this hotel is more than fine. It´s a little dated and the lights in the room are very bright (daylights) but all else is ok.

Change the lightbulbs in the room. These are daylights and not creating a very nice ambiance when you´re in the room.
