Nice, clean hotel, friendly staff, comfortable beds, excellent breakfast.
Can't fault it.
This is a beautiful hotel in the fantastic city of Siena. It is located just across from the centre, and a leisurely 10 minute walk has you at the Piazza del Campo. The rooms are spacious, although a standard triple is on the cramped size. We also had an executive double, and this was a great size. Check in a breeze, staff really friendly and helpful, and left luggage no problem.
There was no coffee machine or kettle in the standard room. We only stayed one night, so it was not a massive issue, and there was great coffee and fresh juice 2 minutes away
Superb location and easy parking.
The room wall was splattered with what looked like food stains. The bathroom faucets were rusted. The floorboards had a chunk missing.
Very good breakfast with good coffee & a nice variety of choices.
Breakfast was excellent, and some of the staff were very friendly and helpful—though not all. The location was ideal, conveniently situated between the train station and the city center. Siena is also very walkable, which made getting around easy and enjoyable.
While some of the desk staff were exceptionally kind, others came across as quite unwelcoming. The air conditioning couldn’t be set below 26°C, which made the room uncomfortable, especially on the 5th floor where the sun hit directly from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. The room felt hot and humid during this season. The shower area was cramped, and water consistently leaked onto the bathroom floor, requiring frequent cleanup after each use.
