Victorian Inn

the staff was very pleasant, especially the receptionist. She was very helpful.

All night (both nights) I couldn't sleep because the bed wasn't very comfortable and we could her the people over us. Children running and the adult or adults walking really hard.

Location was great,very comfy bed with a lovely log burner effect fire too which made it very cosy.

Asked for a courtyard room. We got a corner room. While it had a view of the courtyard it was also on the street side and was therefore noisy,.

Great service and breakfast. Hotel wasnt much to look at but room was very spacious and nice. Loved the fireplace. Nice covered parking. Excellent at the price. Will definitely stay again.

Did not like being charged a deposit or having to pay parking.

The front desk staff were very accommodating. There was free coffee/tea and lemon water 24/7. The breakfast included was pretty good especially with the warm omelette, sausage, and DIY waffles (I enjoyed that and it turned out really tasty). I was also surprised that they had happy hour from 5-6pm with free flow drinks and cheese. The rooms were clean enough with quaint styling.

Parking, although convenient, had a charge.

The fireplace in the room was nice.

The first room we were given was underneath a vibrating machine of some sort. From outside there was a big chimney above our room which may have had something to do with the noise. The vibration was too much for my wife so we asked to change rooms, which wasn't a problem.

The room was spacious, clean, comfortable bed,and quiet.

The breakfast room was very small, crowded, with lines to get at the breakfast choices. The underground parking was very tight. The parking spaces were small and tight.. You had to be careful not to scrape or hit cars/walls on either side of you.
