Avani Ao Nang Cliff Krabi Resort

The room was excellent. They even let us check in early as our flight was in the morning and we were at the property early. So that was very nice of them.

Our villa has the million dollar view. we don't even have to go to the viewing deck to get it. the villa spacious and we love it. the staff we also nice and friendly.

The breakfast was a bit too westerners. We come to Thailand for Thai food. Sometimes, it is a bit nuisance to wait for the buggy.

I love the room with a bathtub on a balcony that I can see the island from my balcony. Large shower and it has everything I needed. Clean room and good a/c (no noise) Its very quiet . Food was great and stuff was nice not far from the beach like 10 mins walk.

I like everything actually. But on my arrival day my flight got delayed and I got to the hotel late around 9:20 pm I was expecting everything would be ready to check in to the room but the reception asked me to wait for the housekeeping lady to check if the bed was ready or not. I was so exhausted but thats alright.

Overall, too many issues for a 4-star hotel: the shower was leaking, the safe didn't work reliably, a technician changed a lightbulb and left glass shards in the shower, the doors are extremely non- soundproof, the online booking system for appointments at spa doesn't work properly (always books for a false default date) and while there are great "special offers" for spa treatments, the receptionists at spa don't seem to know about them. Because of all that, we unfortunately spent much time sorting the issues out. The hotel just isn't really worth the price - at least for a room with a balcony and no seaview. Maybe if you have a seaview, at least you can enjoy that.

the hotel is massive, maybe a few signs to the pool/restaurant would be helpful or even a map in the room, we also had a view of McDonalds from the balcony lol but that didnt really bother us

Lovely view from the pool great location walkable to everything. Try and get a sea view deluxe room in the panorama building

Lots of stairs and lifts as its on a hill side, you get used to it but not great if you forget something in your room with kids old people or a wheelchair I imagine

The hotel was BEAUTIFUL!!!!! Absolutely stunning surroundings and decor. We booked a Superior Sea View room and the views from our balcony were incredible! Waking up to that every morning was just a dream. Our room was squeaky clean and housekeeping replenished our Toiletries daily. Our room was on the 8th floor; all rooms built into the cliff face and easily accessible for everyone. Staff were super sweet and helpful with great English. They couldn't do enough for us. Great selection of food on offer! Overall an amazing experience and would definitely book again! Thank you Avani!
