Nomade Holbox

The Nomade is as impressive as it is shown in photos and on social media. A lot of thought and care has gone into the design. We stayed in the treehouse suite which had a great view and the facilities were as expected. As others have mentioned, the location isnt central but it is only a 20 minute walk along the beach (or a 5/10 minute taxi) to the center. As it was slightly further down the island the beach was undisturbed and kept clean from seaweed.

The service started off very good so we were happy to leave generous tips on top of the automatic 15%. However this prompted some of the servers to become very pushy when we used the beach club and restaurant. As another reviewer mentioned, we felt we were constantly being watched which became very uncomfortable and, as a result, we opted to visit other bars & restaurants after only a couple of days. Im also not convinced we were charged correctly for the mini-bar as these costs were only confirmed by housekeeping to the front desk as our taxi was arriving at the end of the stay and no receipt was provided..

This place is amazing, everything was so beautiful and comfortable, the beach is absolutely beyond words and the staff was so friendly and professional. The rooms decorated to perfection and is all so peaceful and quite.

The hotel is pretty far from all main attractions but we actually liked it for the peace and quiet we needed. The only 2 things that was kind of cons are the way overpriced hotel restaurant although it is probably worth the money but we werent prepared for that. One less small thing is the toilet which was dark and the toilet seat is way to high and not comfortable.

Beautiful hotel, with the most helpful staff. We stayed for a whole week and couldnt have felt more looked after. Rooms were lovely and clean and super comfy beds! As two food lovers food was a really big part of our holiday and the food here was fantastic! Great value and generous portions. Beach was lovely and well looked after and they tried their best to fight off mosquitos with in sense pits. Highly recommend this lovely hotel was by far the nicest on the island with the nicest beach club, chilled music and great service.

Spiritual healing with amazing programming. Amazing fresh, healthy food. Amazing attentive staff and the best beach in the world. We will be back.

Always being asked to sign a ticket or tab and being chased down to sign for things when we are clearly just relaxing and spending the entire 4 days on the property with a hold on credit card for anything consumed. The constant nit picking even over a simple bottle of water little tacky for such a high end spiritual place but no big deal.
