The Sessions turned out to be a wonderful surprise—quirky, in the groove with its recording them, quiet and well-appointed rooms, all for not much more than I’d’ve paid for a motel on the interstate. It doesn’t offer breakfast, but a terrific bakery—The Blackbird—is less than two blocks away. Same with good food for our dinner. We didn’t try the barbecue place in the hotel, but a nice fusion restaurant down the street, which was very good.
Really not much to criticize: easy parking, nice lobby with a little gift shop. But if you like the convenience— and the noise—of ice machines on each floor, then be warned: you get your ice from a central place near the lobby.
Studio rooms are amazing!
Walls may be thin. A person beside of us was beating on the wall throughout the night.
Very beautiful retro historic building in recording artists style. Room elegant and completely renovated. Whole place has cool vibe! BBQ restaurant/bar just across courtyard, excellent food, great presentation, reasonable prices.
Right next to Main Street so traffic noise at night.
I love almost everything about this cute unique hotel! The decor is cool. The beds are comfortable. The rooms are clean. The people who work there are very helpful and nice. There is a rooftop bar and and a great bbq restaurant attached. The location is ideal for visiting Bristol.
Although the rooms are decorated super cute, they need a few more lights in the room . The shower needs a wider door so you don’t get anything wet.
Such a unique hotel, capturing the essence of a by-gone era in the music industry especially focusing on Bristol, TN. So cool!
Even though the hotel has done a great job in keeping a lot of the character of the old building, sound still travels through the walls. Not sure if anything can be done about that though.
