Love the pineapple theme, great to have the use of the water refills. Staff very friendly. Bed was comfortable
Room a bit on the old side, dusty in places. Shower pressure very weak. Lots of homeless people in the area unfortunately
Great rooms and great location. Nice touch with a free water bottle.
It is located next to the streetcar/train tracks. So it can be a bit noisy.
My third stay in this hotel which speaks volumes. Slightly quirky but overall good, it has a decent bar and does reasonable food. Plenty of parking (chargeable). See the things I dislike though - not enough to stay anywhere else but could be improved. Like the location.
Two things and both to do with the room. The double glazing is some of the worst I've found anywhere from a noise point of view - it's noisy and that will disturb you. The second is the bedding - the duvet keeps sliding off. Get something better that works as it should.
I loved the location. It was close to everything walking distance. It’s right by the waterfront, so we took the trail and were able to hit all the main spots. There’s lots of restaurants near by too and a mall. The staff were the nicest people we’ve ever had. Like usually we’ve had a few nice staff but here at this hotel literally all the staff was friendly!
I know Portland has a bad rep for homeless people, not sure if the person I encountered was or wasn’t. But I went to the ladies restroom at the cafe and a man entered the bathroom while I was there. Maybe some security would be nice. The man used the restroom, I obviously left when I noticed men feet. Maybe he was confused idk but didn’t like that.
