Crowne Plaza Rome St. Peter's

A property; isolated from the popular tourist attractions .. the rack rate had been doubled because the tourist season had commenced.. basically a 80s style hotel well maintained but isolated for tourists

The location .. the hotel referrs to itself as St Peters .. yet the Vatican is 10 kms away

Nothing the room was dirty with blood stains when we checked in and the staff did not care , there was a needle pice on the bed found and when brought t to the notice of the staff, no one cares ..

Loved the spa and the hotel staff. Especially Andrea in the shop who booked all our trips for us. The food was great.

Room furniture was in need of updating although the bathroom was excellent and the bed comfortable. I didnt like the fact that we couldnt use the outside pool after we had to check out but wait for 7 hours for our flight. It was a hot day. I understand that this is not the hotel fault but it is very frustrating as the pool only opened for the summer season the day before.

Nice friendly staff at reception and spa. Room was a good enough size and comfortable. Well equipped, including iron and ironing board.

Pricey at 230/night without breakfast, hotel a little tired, lifts slow, house keeping staff were not particularly friendly at least not on my side of the floor.

Breakfast was great, room was clean. SPA centre as well as tennis court were included in our price. We really liked the hotel.
