Executive Inn Whistler

The hot tub on the balcony, loft style, has a kitchenette complete with the kitchen ware, and high ceilings.

There are hairs on the floor that need to be cleaned up. I found a wood screw on the floor that should be disposed of. It would be great if the coffee machine and kettle could be thoroughly cleaned.

The hotel location is excellent—steps away from the gondola/lift and all the dining options in the village are at your doorstep. The room we were put up in (at Mountain Side location, see below) was very spacious (loft), 2 bathrooms and a sauna in the bedroom which was such a pleasant surprise. We always appreciate having an outdoor hot tub!

There was a bit of confusion upon arrival at the Village Side location, as we were told that our booking was for the Executive Mountainside location. I didn't even realize there was another location. When we checked into Mountainside, they let us know we had been upgraded. Our initial room was supposed to have a balcony, which we were looking forward to, but the new room was more spacious - so can't really complain. We would have just appreciated some communication about the hotel change ahead of time. In the end, it didn't matter too much because the new hotel was just around the corner, but a heads up would have been nice so we could have just parked at the right hotel from the beginning and not had to move our car after skiing. The hotel/room is definitely a bit dated, but you get what you pay for. It served its purpose!
