Location is awesome Common room was nice Staff were super helpful
Bathrooms were the smallest ever No clean bath mats No clean hand towels Bathrooms very grotty by end of the day Unbelievably small Defs cozy and had college vibe Room walls are paper thin We were kept awake all night by singing and chatting in room across the way There is a sign in hall stating be quiet between 10p and 8am so I’m thinking it may be a common complaint
Shower was amazing. Good tv channel selection
The rooms and bathrooms recently renovated The location is great
The heating/ventilation system. When the heating was on it was too hot (central heating so temperature is 'one fits all') and when it was off the noise from the ventilation was very loud which made it impossible to have a proper nights sleep. The room was not at all soundproof. Staying at the lodge for 1 to 2 nights is ok. Would not recommend longer as I personally did not manage to rest.
Location!
Very comfortable with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Our room had its own ensuite, a little kitchen with fridge, cooker and microwave and a table we moved in front of the sliding doors so we could admire the stunning water and mountain views. Although it was too cold I use, we also had a little balcony. It was all lovely and easy. Plus we had parking at the lodge. There was a lot to love!
Ha ha, it was only a 10-15 minute walk to the centre of Queenstown all downhill on the way to town but the last half of the return home was up a VERY big hill! By day 3 it had become easier though and we joked that it was our daily exercise.
friendly staff, Quiet, Good size room
