Location is in the Middle of Time square.
No Breakfast
No breakfast at the hotel, it was grab and go. I wouldn pay it if I knew that...no good from booking, not telling us that in advance. Hotel gym was 4 blocks away, not safe at 6am to go...
The location cannot be beat, wow, just steps to everything in Times Square and the Broadway shows.
The heat doesn’t work until the outside temperature drops into the 50s, so 60° and up we had no heat and it made for a very chilly room. Especially when just out of the shower and after a chilly day outside, crawling into bed is tough when it’s still cold in the room. Best they could do was offer more blankets, which we graciously accepted but were happy/not happy to see the temps drop further after 3 days of sitting in the low 60s so we could get some heat in the room.
- the location - Even if the service was charged ($25/hour) I appreciated being able to check out later - good soundproofing of the room with the outside because a lot of noise in the neighborhood
- old towel, - only one towel per person and some days too small (I asked the cleaning lady Issa to give us more towels... without success), - clogged sink (I asked the cleaning lady Issa to contact the maintenance person to solve the problem... without success), - bathroom trash can not emptied every day, - broken TV cabinet (the drawer was missing), - floor not vacuumed, - bathroom seen dilapidated, - few amenities per person and not renewed daily. I suggest installing wall-mounted dispensers - no breakfast room / the reception gave me a voucher to collect a hot drink, a cold item and a pastry from the hotel kiosk. (after 10am, no more food choices although the kiosk is open until 1pm) - when we arrived, the gentleman who greeted us at midnight at the reception was not friendly and welcoming (despite my attempts to try to get a smile from him) he really didn't want to be there and he doesn't like what he does. he shouldn't be in this position in front of the public. - I was charged an additional $75 per night as guaranteed. OK. However, the amount can take more than a week to be refunded. - I took a taxi from the hotel to the airport. I was quoted an all-inclusive price of $135. Instead, I paid $154. It's not the difference that bothers me. It is that the concierge influence me comparing the Uber price (160$)
