Renovations on property woke us up in the early in the morning. I booked because it had a hot tub and a pool. No hot tub on property and pool was nasty and renovations all around the pool. I wasn’t warned of renovations before I booked with property.

The style of the bathroom and how clean they feel and look

Location was excellent

Under construction. Dirty, loud and if this was known we would NOT have stayed. The plastic contruction barrier is up against the " Breakfast ". And construction has an elevator door open 24/7 leaving 1 to run the whole hotel.

Quiet location away from major streets. Good parking and easy access to the location I needed to attend for business. Very comfortable bed and excellent bathroom. Good standard Hampton breakfast. We booked this room after checking in to a downtown "inn" that was a disaster. After numerous stays at Hamptons, we were very happy to get the standard Hampton experience after booking into the "historic" property.

The property was undergoing some renovations, but really it hardly detracted from our brief.

The staff was friendly.

The two rooms I booked were not together or even close at all. One elevator was broken. There was trash all over the parking lot from construction, and the dumpsters and trash took up a lot of parking spaces. Trash was also in the one working elevator and throughout the hallways.

Breakfast and service generally were nice. My room was clean.

I was pretty upset to find out that the WiFi was behind a paywall. I acknowledge that I could have looked closer and found that out, but in 2024 I see WiFi as a utility like water or electricity and having to pay extra for it is pretty ridiculous. The hotel was also being renovated, which it definitely needs, but the mess was an unwelcome surprise.

Variety of breakfast foods; large, comforrable bed; convenient location near intersection of Rt 7 and 15.

Excellent,clean and contemporary refurbished room.
