Great location for walks and visiting marlow and surrounding areas In house riverside restaurant was wonderful
Nil of note
Great location. A bit shabby sheek
A little pricey
My second time at The Complete Angler. Fabulous hotel. Love the area. Excellent place to relax.
Nothing to dislike.
Very tired
Very expensive for the quality of stay
Location and quaintness
No lift in the older part of the building. Corridors dark and gave the feel of a ret run. But that ironically was also part of its charm. Beer selection limited
Awesome location on the water. Room was pretty comfortable
Was a bit run down, could use some TLC. The air con would switch off on its own (assuming set on a timer) every couple of hours so it got super toasty during the nights which was a bit of a pain.
Location superb
Not impressed I’m afraid - very tired feel and needing refurb. If our room was a deluxe double, I really wonder what a normal double is like - it was very small and felt very dated and tired. I had to ask for a TV remote control (took over an hour to arrive after reminder) and a hair dryer (needed a second call to remind them we were waiting). The wash hand basin was almost totally blocked and took ages to drain - didn’t need a plug! Surely cleaning staff should have noticed this. For a hotel charging premium pricing all of this was a big disappointment. The food at dinner was good and the staff very friendly but the service took an age and it was clear that we weren’t the only ones noticing this.
We were meeting up with friends for a celebration and the area suited us all. Being able to dine in the evening was a bonus . Its position by the river and being able to walk into the town.
