beach and pool hours/ access were great! I also enjoyed the customer service throughout the hotel.
the cost was too high....It's also probably due to Spring break time, but it could have been lower.
accessibility of the beach was very convenient, the hotel staff was friendly and the facilities were nice. Overall, I love Kimpton hotels because they are pet friendly and I appreciate a hotel like this.
However, this particulat Kimpton hotel left me rather disappointed. For the price and fees we paid, the hotel definitely did not meet the expectatiopns. It charged resort fees, yet you had to pay for the umbrella at the beach. The rooms were very old and shabby. It says it's a 4 star hotel, I'd give it 2.5 star actually. I also asked to add the point to my IHG account and they refused because the booking was made through booking.com. This is very annoying.
Great location.
Restaurant wasn't good.
The location is fantastic—right by the beach—and the hotel has a great vibe. The beach and pool staff were also excellent, going out of their way to make sure guests had a good experience.
Avoid Booking.com – Second-Tier Treatment & Terrible Experience Do not book this hotel through Booking.com! We had a terrible experience. They placed our room next to the electrical closet, which also happens to be where the cleaning staff starts their day. For three mornings in a row, we were woken up by the noise. After the first night, I requested a room change, but was told there were no available rooms. However, on the second day, I booked another room directly with the hotel for a family member—surprise, there were rooms available! It’s clear that guests who book through Booking.com are treated as second-tier customers. The reservation staff was unhelpful and not accommodating. Strongly recommend booking directly with the hotel instead.
