Sonesta Select San Jose Airport

The friendly, helpful staff. The pool and small gym. It's convenient to have a Sonesta hotel so close to the Airport without airport noise.

No mini fridge in the rooms. This seems to be mostly due to their having a modest restaurant on site, but I couldn't eat their food because I have Gluten Intolerance (Celiac Disease). I'd love it if they either offered mini fridges so that people can store their gluten free food, or offered at least one gluten free option for dinner. Additionally, I was at the back of the building, right next to the freeway on-ramp, which progressively wore on me as my week went on. In the long term, I hope that the hotel puts up a sound wall to block the sounds of engines revving up and tires squealing.

The only thing I liked about the location was the fact that it was near the airport

The property put me at the end of the hallway which was near the elevator, and I believe some kind of ice machine across from where I was staying. It was loud even late into the evening, and I heard people walking up and down the hallway. I did not feel safe at that location.
