Friendly people, amazing room, very convenient to Old Town.
Nothing.
Total unacceptable situation. Upon arrival, we expressed our dissatisfaction of our room. View of roof top of next door building and city highway! Room was extremely small and crowded with furniture…muffled and stifling. Handles on doors and drawer pulls worn out. We complained immediately. They simply said no place. We even offered to pay more for upgrade. After long deliberation, amazingly another room was indeed available. However, this room had the same view but slightly larger. It was situated on the floor directly above. Not acceptable. They added insult to injury by offering one free breakfast and a bottle of wine…falsely believing that it would make us happy. It did not make us happy, not at all. Never have we been so insulted! We were given no choice. We stayed and received nothing but “attitude” and incredibly bad service…for example, we asked for iron and ironing board and we are still waiting for it to be brought to our room! My husband and I are world travellers and expect 4-5 star class service when we pay for it…and we always pay for it and expect nothing less! This was a horrible experience! We were treated like “free-loaders” and are convinced that we were put in the worst room in the house. So very, very insulting! Even when we said we would pay for the type of room we expected! The visual on the bookings.com website were extremely misleading! We were stuck and frustrated so decided to tolerate the three nights that we were there. It is the first time that we have used Bookings.com for our vacation. It is obvious that they made sure we understand that we got “what we paid for” by using your service. They were rude and definitely disrespectful about using your service and made it known that if we would have booked directly with the hotel the situation would have been different and much more pleasant. How terribly insulting and disappointing and infuriating. We will never refer this hotel!
