Location
Bad smell and when I checked in it was brought to my attention that my reservation was done only for two adults. However when I booked my room I clearly included my two children and I was charge another 200 euros.
Helpful staff. Good breakfast. Excellent location.
Room was the size of a walk in closet ( # 304). Bathroom had a sliding door which took a LOT of strength to operate ( I had to do it for my wife). You cannot control your AC/Heating from your room...it is controlled by computer from the office.....not acceptable. An earlier stay, 3 weeks ago, we were upgraded to a suite, which was a joke. Small, with sloping ceilings in bathroom ( hit my head 6 times) with a totally useless second room also with sloping ceilings. Also 3 sets of stairs to reach the room ( # 320).
The view from the room was amazing. The bed was comfortable. Clean room. Everything worked.
For us, it was too crowded there and a difficult thing to mitigate during acqua alta October November. Also, the lack of air conditioning was terrible. The humidity and heat during the day was sweltering for us. No way to escape. Please require your members to honestly post their air conditioning availability. In Italy so far on our 59 day wide ranging trip, we find that advertising ac is nothing to believe. It may be there but is governed by arbitrary policy not the need or comfort of the guest. Misleading.
Fantastic and beautiful! Location is perfection.
I loved everything about it.
Great location just off the Piazza San Marco. Comfortable room. Good breakfast buffet. Helpful staff.
Soundproofing in the room was poor. We could hear next doors phone call.
was good
Great location. And Natalia who works at the bar in the evening is a treasure. She alone would get a five star rating.
Look, Venice has 30 million visitors a year. One cannot expect bargain in Venice. This place was perfectly pleasant, but ridiculously expensive for one person, for tiny bed and tiny room... I was in shock when I saw the size of the room, but remembered I had actually selected this single bed. Venice prices, I suppose.
