The Ritz-Carlton Montreal

from the time we got out of our car, we were greeted by friendly employees. once checked in, the macaroons and pastries in the room that seemed homemade were outstanding. The bathroom was the best, amazing. the bar was great. we did not dine there but had some drinks. Overall, great value. I tried to stay there again a couple weeks later but was sold out. The best Ritz that I have ever been to.

I liked everything about the property. the only thing i didnt like was it was a short stay and would have liked to stay longer.

The hotel is in a great location right in the center of Montral, close to all restaurants and shops. The room we stayed in was large (nearly 50sq meters) and had deep bath as well as a shower and a dedicated dressing room. The service was amazing as youd expect, but all the staff were exceptionally lovely and went above and beyond our expectations - the trip was for my wifes birthday and the staff put petals on the bed and left some chocolate treats and a birthday card for her, what a lovely touch that has made our trip very special. There were plenty of choices for breakfast, and the food was delicious. We sat in the courtyard garden while ducks were roaming by - a lovely atmosphere.

Breakfast was too expensive. Location was excellent.

Upon departure there were some issues. We had requested a van the day before, and were told as we were leaving that none were available, so we and our friends had to take two taxis.
