The property was very difficult to find.
I booked a room, and when I arrived, they told me that they did not have any clean rooms available for me. So I ended up having to continue to drive, and could not find another room for the night.
Great location, clean, good value, walking distance to Bob Evans for dinner.
Nothing.
Bed was great.
No coffee or cups for all in room. Food on the floor from previous peeps. Need better TV service so it doesn't glitch.
No hot water
Great Staff. The bed and bathrooms were very clean and the bed was very comfortable.
The TV did not work and when I called she told me she would give me a credit, but the next morning at check-out the other person behind the desk said he wasn't authorized but would talk to management. He was very nice about it. The floors in the room, halls and elevator were not all that dirty but didn't appear to have been vacuumed in some time as there were small bits of paper, thread and other things all around. It is obviously an old hotel in need of some maintenance, like paint chips not repaired and missing molding. In addition the Elevator was the slowest I have ever experienced but probably represented the age of the hotel. Lastly the breakfast left a lot to be desired. The eggs were tepid but the biscuits were very good.
The front desk clerk (Autumn) was very friendly and responsive. Her attentiveness was the best part of the stay.
The room refrigerator didn't work - the desk clerk offered solutions that, unfortunately, weren't acceptable. As we were traveling, this was the only room amenity that was important to us and it was unavailable. We were located at the end of the hall and an exit door was closely situated to our room that would allow me to shorten the walk my elderly travel companions would have to get to and from the room/car. Unfortunately it was unavailable since the card reader on the outside was missing and wires hanging loosely. I also witnessed the break in security this caused since people propped the door open to be able to re-enter from the outside when using this exit. I found a black film on the bottom of the tub/shower that lead me to believe that the room wasn't as clean or sanitary as it appeared. The mattresses on the beds were extremely stiff and very uncomfortable.
