Room was small but well organised, and the iPad control system was quite cool. Rooftop bar was also a great spot to have a pre dinner drink in the evening. Location is great to explore the city!
Cleaning takes place until 6pm so sometimes we came back to our room after a long day exploring to get ready to go back out and cleaning would arrive at around 5pm. We would have to leave or choose not to have our room cleaned that day. The room was small so when it was not cleaned, it was annoying to have extra towels etc. Room has no coffee/ tea facilities and when you pay for coffee downstairs at breakfast, staff appear to be confused and ask you to pay for full breakfast but we only wanted a takeaway coffee. There should be a better system in place for guests. Once I got my takeaway coffee handed to me and the server said the top wasn’t on properly and proceeded to hand it to me without being polite and fixing it. Customer service for hotel guests should be improved, especially on that lower level. The lower level can be rented daily as a coworker space and these people appear to get priority over hotel guests during daytime hours, space for guests to chill was typically limited to barstools. We would have preferred bottle water in our room rather than using filtered tap water especially since we were tourists, bottled water was $7 downstairs which was a lot.
Nice rooms yet small. Well, it's New York!
Rooftop, personnel, location
The surroundings very dirty and a lot of homeless Small rooms and the bed position very uncomfortable for two person to get in and out The ck in is at 2:00 but until 3:30 they don’t have room available for us
Nice lobby and bar/workspace on the lower level. Location
Given an ADA room that had a leaking ceiling( wet shoes and floor), a filthy couch, rusted moldy seat and poor lighting( no light in the shower) and extremely tiny sink in a corner that was not functional as washing your hands was difficult because it was so small. Washing your face left water all over the floor. I was told no other rooms were available so they could not change my room. I had prepaid and money back would not happen that night. No one should have been given this room especially a disabled individual. I have been to citizen M hotels in three countries and this one was terrible
Great views from rooftop bar. The staff were great. Two nights max in the tiny room but its clean and modern.
The location is right next to a homeless shelter. It was dirty and nasty outside of the hotel. The location is ok. Its close to chinatown if that’s something you want to do.
Property was beautiful. Enjoyed the downstairs food/ bar options and the rooftop bar. (Unfortunate that roof top access was limited in time and availability) Bed was very comfortable. Room was small but we expected that. Very quiet.
Bathroom. Too small and difficult to maneuver around. Shower was very nice but abnormally small.
Great location, close to Subway stations so you can get everywhere. Loads to do in the neighbourhood.
The rooms are the size of a double bed, and they weren't cleaned during the 4 day stay.
