Location and our go too hotel in Paso Robles
None
The location of the hotel is great. Central to the wineries and very close to the main downtown area. The staff was very friendly, professional, and helpful. The hotel is clean and the grounds are pretty and welcoming (We loved the swing chairs in the lawn area). The bathroom in the room was huge with two sinks and plenty of counter space.
We weren't in our rooms too much so it didn't bother us all that much, but the rooms were a little small and the walls must be pretty thin, as we could really hear our neighbors when we were in the room. (Luckily, they weren't too loud after we went to bed). And, although the room was a little cramped, the bathroom was huge (maybe think about making the rooms bigger and the bathroom smaller if there is ever a remodel)
The property itself is very sweet. Old and historic but the grounds are well kept. The beds were comfortable.
The showers were the worst in both rooms. The TV system was also outdated and a hassle. The overall price was about double what it should have been. The spa on our balcony was broken.
Very central as only a block from the restaurants and bars.
You could hear basically everything in the adjoining rooms
I was pleasantly surprised to get a room in the Grand Ballroom and let me tell you! AWESOME!!!! The room, decor, comfort, and space were all terrific!
The bathtub jets did not work and that was a bummer. I was by myself and looked forward to that luxurious bath. I just got a soak instead.
